Nubbin's World - The Beginning

Life today in Nubbin's World... is becoming more and more interesting... and challenging! i might add :o) It's a world of floods of new information as we try to learn new skills, increase the visibility of our selling platforms, and learn about the fine art of Blogging, Mini Sites, and a myriad of other formats for 'multiple streams of income'. I'm also learning a whole new world of 'lingo' to go with these new formats and lines. I'm learning about affiliate programs. I'm learning that there's a whole world out here that i had only a hint of an idea existed. Now... i'm trying to learn how to make all these things function together. It's really kind of a fascinating journey.

WOW! and learning how to make this site work? This is just frightening :o) WHAT? is a 'dashboard' doing in a uhhhhh... word processing tool? if that's what you call this? WHAT the heck IS IT?! ha! I thought that was what was in my car to tell if i'm speeding or not.. :o) Obviously, i don't have this figured out yet :o)

To date, what i had figured out is that selling on Ebay is costing me more and more. It's becoming more and more tedious as they seem to have become more and more buyer friendly and seem to have forgotten that it's the sellers (ME included) who pay all the fees to them. I understand that we have to have buyers to have any business. But if sellers are going broke trying to pay our fees, and the feedback system has developed such a tilt for the buyers, then there's nothing left for sellers to do but to try to find other platforms to sell their goods, and to find other areas to support themselves in and with. So... that's why i'm here :o)

Bonanzle (http://www.bonanzle.com/) is my first venture. I just set it up to feed on Google... now that i know what a 'feed' is! HA! I thought to feed, i needed to head for the kitchen :o) Now i know i need to set up an account on Google. So... i'm Nubbins_Collections on both bonanzle and ebay. I sell women's clothing, both customer returns and some brand new. Brands range from Denim & Co., Susan Graver, Quacker Factory, Citiknits, Spanx, and Silhouettes.. both regular and plus size.

I thought i had just learned my first lesson on 'blog'... save your work! HA! I clicked another button to see, i thought, what this was looking like... and all but the first paragraph went away! HA!! Somehow, i got it back :o) Please dont' ask me how! hahahaha! ROFL

Well, i think this is the end of my first lesson. It's WAY too late at night, and i'm WAY too tired. I'll be back tomorrow night to see what else i can 'learn' ;o)
